Please start with your most recent employment and/or education and provide a minimum of 2 years work history so we are able to obtain sufficient references. Please ensure that you complete all of the fields below before submitting.
We are required to obtain academic/employment references for each applicant, in line with our safeguarding requirements. So we can achieve this, we will require contact details to approach suitable referees from your current or most recent settings. All references must cover a minimum of the most recent 24 months/2 years in your timeline. Teaching staff will require a minimum of 2 full references that comment on suitability to work with children. Learning Support and other school staff will require a minimum of 2 full references, with 1 reference that can comment on suitability to work with children. Please note we will only accept professional contact details for safeguarding reasons.
If there are any gaps in employment/studies of 3 months or more within the last 10 years, we will require a character reference to cover this. Please note your character referee must have known you for a minimum of 3 years and must have been known to you during the period(s) of your unemployment. We will primarily attempt to contact your referees via email, resorting to phone calls if required.
